About Sonny With Grey Skize

At the intersection of athletic passion and raw human grief, Sonny With Grey Skize is a dramatic sports novel centered on a young boy who loses his father at age nine. Determined to honor his memory, he strives to become an elite baseball player so his late father can experience the fulfillment of a deferred dream through his son's journey.

Core talking points and faith

In modern fiction, darkness and adversity often dominate while divine intervention feels absent. Victor Sanchez approaches narrative differently: Sonny With Grey Skize explores the profound truth that God is not merely an idle bystander, but an active, watchful presence listening to our struggles and guiding our paths through hardship.

Characters rooted in real life

Every character in the novel is deeply personal, modeled closely after real friends and loved ones in the author's life. Victor Sanchez is available for podcast interviews, book features, and guest articles to discuss the real stories behind the fiction, high-resolution media materials, and key thematic inquiries.
